The RainThe RainThe Rain
Last night, I sat crouched in front of my window. The rain was pouring down, but it didn’t seem to faze anyone…Going about their business in their merry lives…But I sat there, with my forehead resting against the glass. I pulled my knees closer into my chest as a cold rush flooded my room. As I sat there watching Heaven’s tears drop to the soiled earth, I thought of my father. He always used to love the rain…But the thing he once loved was the thing that took him away from me. And now I sit here, every rainy night, thinking what could have been.
Have a nice week
